HOW CAN i or MY ORGANIZATION HELP UNITED WAY?
We understand that you want to make a difference right here in our community, and we want to help you do that. We also realize that each company is unique and has its own way of approaching philanthropy.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for people in our community by focusing on issues in health, education, financial stability and safety net services. To achieve these goals, we rely on people throughout our six-county service area to come together and work as volunteers, advocates and fundraisers. Without this support, it will be impossible to create the kind of impact we envision for our communities.
Below are several resources that you can use to help direct your efforts with United Way, whether you are an individual, organizations or company.

United Way Ambassadors is one of United Way’s longest-standing volunteer opportunities. To learn more about becoming an ambassador, click here.

UWRC works with local organizations to help plan and coordinate pop-up volunteer events. These events can be community hosted or workplace hosted. For more information about setting up a pop-up volunteer event, contact our Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at 304.523.8929 ext 107.
