Education Initiative Continuum
United Way of the River Cities' Education Initiative promotes student success in prepartion for school, work, and life by mobilizing the community and providing diverse opportunities for learning. The Education Initiative is composed of two community coalitions, Success By 6® and Education Matters, which strive to meet community-wide objectives.
Success By 6® seeks to ensure that all children are physically, mentally, developmentally, emotionally, and socially to begin kindergarten. Education Matters motivates the community to decrease the dropout rate and increase student success in Cabell County.
